| I built this as a week-long project in my spare time; mainly with the goal of working on a small web product, full-stack, from design to development and distribution, as well as to scratch a personal itch.
So what does it do? Well it's quite simple: You register an account with http://www.theclipping.co as well as install the extensions. The extension is authenticated with your account as long as you are logged in to your web account.

| I've built this web application in the hopes that those who are in the market for an about.me type page, but with a simpler interface and no branding, would find it useful. |
| Yuri is a project inspired by my personal fascination with space travel. On April 12, 2011, Google commemorated Yuri Gagarin, the first human to travel to space and fly around the Earth in orbit. This project draws heavy inspiration from, and is at the same time, also, an attempt to praise the early beginnings of this great human feat. Visit: http://yuri.yup.la |
I made a very simple but extremely useful Google Chrome plugin. All it does is open each article link on Hacker News (Y Combinator News) in a new tab. That's it. It saves me tons of headaches while browsing this fantastic pool of tech, science and design news site.
This is an the first realization of an experiment in UI that ultimately made it as the front page menu on this site!
This experiment was made during my final year at U of Guelph, where I studied Studio Art. It is intended to draw together a number of ideas from online web applications developed to explore the human 'need' or perceived need the desire to know the 'other', and to analyze the other and self through analytical and statistical methods.
